Welcome to Dottie about cards.
I live on the Wirral and have been crafting for 10 years. I have a son and daughter and 6 grandchildren. I have been a craft tutor covering many aspects of cardmaking for 10 years. I was employed by a local craft company, sadly that came to an end so now I have now gone freelance.
This easel card was made using Go Kreate large scallop oval and large plain oval dies. The stamped image is Woodware's new poinsettia stamp set. As you can probably see I love poinsettias for Xmas. Usually I colour all my stamped images with the fabulous promarkers.
Another class card using wreath stamp from Butterfly Kisses. I have used nestability circle, Nellie's circle, holly punch and label punches from stamping up. White background is Crafts Too square embossing folder.
This is another class card using stampendous cling rubber corner stamp. The message stamps is from Woodware. I have also used Martha Stewart corner punch.
This is one of the cards I am doing at a class at my house. I have used the ruler from the harmonica templates to do the folded card, Martha Stewart border snowflake punch, sissix snowflake and nestabilities for the circles. You could also turn the card around and create a stepper card
I have made this card to show that you can use the new book template from Little Claire on Xmas cards as well as Wedding, christening, sympathy, new baby etc. I have also again used the large dies from Go Kreate
This card has been cut with the new large Go Kreate die and the layers cut with nestabilities. I have coloured parts of the snowman with promarkers and then used glamour dust on hat and scarf.
This is another peel off card I have made. I have used Crafts Too dotty embossing folder on the background. I used inkabilities on black card then placed the peel offs onto the card then glittered them with glamour dust. Finished the baubles off with little bows.
I was asked to make cards with these peel offs, one sheet of green and one sheet of red. I peeled them off the backing and stuck them on to acetate, then cut round them. I used a kaleidoscope template to make the card and edged with glitter line peel offs.
Hi everyone, been a bit busy, have been getting a new kitchen so haven't been able to spend time on blog. This card I made for my sister's birthday. I used the very large dies from Go Kreate to cut the ovals. I printed the image from Joanna Sheene's Pamela West cd rom, scanned the image and made a background paper.
I made this stepper card from Little Claire's stamps set. Have used the scallop and plain round die cuts from Little Claire. As usual I have decoupaged the images. I think it makes the card a little bit more interesting.
I have used the heart nestabilities on this card, embossed the white heart with crafts too embossing folder. The flowers I made with small and medium leaf punch.
Hi everyone I am new to blogging. Just got my granddaughter to help me with my blog found it a bit confusing. Will hopefully get better the more I use it. I have worked with a craft company for the past ten years but sadly no longer work for them. With friends I am hoping to do some classes and have also been approached by a local craft shop to do demos and classes. Watch this space for more info.
